SSOAP Prototype Project

The Government seeks solutions to develop, demonstrate, and validate a Government-owned Shore-to-Sea Operational Assessment Process (SSOAP) for large unmanned maritime systems. The prototype will establish a repeatable end-to-end process for planning, preparing, integrating, executing, assessing, and refining Government-led operational assessments in representative maritime environments. The process will be iteratively demonstrated and refined using representative unmanned maritime systems and associated enabling capabilities. Where appropriate, enabling capabilities may be developed, demonstrated, and validated as separately identifiable prototype subprojects supporting development and demonstration of the SSOAP process. Successful completion will deliver a validated, repeatable SSOAP process and implementation package suitable for Government reuse and application to current and future unmanned maritime systems.
